How To Approach Women At Supermarkets And Gym
This is by far my favorite place of all I have listed. Not only have I met more women at the supermarket than any other place, but I’ve had some amazing and long relationships as a result of meeting women here. I also have plenty of friends who usually end up meeting several potential dates here at least twice a week! The market has its good times and bad, but this is by far the easiest place to meet that special someone. Why?
For one, you’re shopping in your neighborhood. Chances of seeing someone for a second or third time are great.
Also, you can see what type of food they’re buying; in other words, what some of the foods are that they like to eat, which makes it prime fodder for a quick observation and comment.
You can quickly figure out if they’re with someone by how much food they’re purchasing and if it’s enough for two!
The supermarket is a relaxed atmosphere in which women tend to linger in certain spots for a while. This gives you the opportunity to approach them and make eye contact. You can also easily walk up and down the aisles and smile at women whom you find attractive when you pass them by. Then you could pass them by a little later and just say “hello,” and comment on something you observe about them, about what they’re looking at, what they have in their basket, etc. There’s so many easy observations to comment on in the supermarket!
From 6-8pm. You’ll be getting the after-work and after workout crowd. Women will be buying their dinner and food, and are usually pretty relaxed and ready to unwind for the day, so a nice friendly conversation is right up their alley.
Saturday is best during lunch time. If it’s a health food store, best would be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is one of the best times to go due to the fact that a lot of women are shopping for the week.
If you like going to the gym that’s great because it can be a great place to meet women. But don’t do it like all the other meat-heads already there! Women hate that! Here’s the secret. Most guys just go the gym without checking out the classes offered there. They pump iron, and that’s great, but it’s a very male thing.
What you should be doing is following the women to the exercise classes. Yoga is a great workout and improves your health. It’s also great for your flexibility. What’s more, there are usually 10 to 1 women to men in a yoga class. There are also Pilates classes, which also have a lot more women than men. Check out your gym’s class schedule, but also look into some of the Yoga and Pilates studios around you. Or, if you’re ready to go outside your comfort zone, try a dance class.
Now, I can just picture many of you sitting there cringing at the thought of going to do Yoga, Pilates, or dance. That’s ok, it may not be for you, but at least try it out. Give it a shot and go into the experience with no expectations, just to have fun. You may be surprised at what you find!
Also, don’t be the creepy guy there just to hit on women! That’s the worse thing you can do. Just be present in the moment enjoying yourself, and plenty of opportunities to observe and interact will present themselves. Trust me. I used to get away with corny lines like “Man, how did you like being a pretzel today; all we were missing was the mustard.” Corny as it was, it worked. Why? Because I was just being me having fun, I was in the moment, and I smiled. All things you can easily do as well.
